Uniform

Per the 2017 Guide to Advancement at  §8.0.0.4 Wearing the Uniform—or Neat in Appearance   


It is preferred a Scout be in full field uniform for any board of review. He should wear as much of it as he owns, and it should be as correct as possible, with the badges worn properly....

Troop 168

(Est.1940)

1907

In 1907, Lord Robert Baden-Powell began the Scouting movement in Great Britain.  


The first encampment ran from August 1-9, 1907, at Brownsea Island, in England. 

1910

On February 8, 1910, William D. Boyce and a group of outstanding leaders founded the Boy Scouts of America.

1940

An Application for Charter of a New Troop was filed on behalf of Troop 168!  

The right hand portion of the charter notes "Retro 10-15-40".
