Uniform

Per the 2021 Guide to Advancement at §8.0.0.4 Wearing the Uniform—or Neat in Appearance (p. 52).

It is preferred a Scout be in full field uniform for any board of review. As much of the uniform as the Scout owns should be worn, and it should be as correct as possible, with the badges worn properly... 

Highlights of Scouting History

Troop 168

(Est.1940)

1907

In 1907, Lord Robert Baden-Powell began the Scouting movement in Great Britain.

 

The first encampment ran from August 1-9, 1907, at Brownsea Island, in England. 


1940

An Application for Charter of a New Troop was filed on behalf of Troop 168!

 

The right hand portion of the charter notes "Retro 10-15-40". 


1910

On February 8, 1910, William D. Boyce and a group of outstanding leaders founded the Boy Scouts of America.


2020 = 80 years

Troop 168 marked its 80th year in 2020!
